Interesting facts
g According to his birth certificate, his name is R D., not Ardee, but both spellings have appeared in official documents. The 1920 U.S. Census, however, spells his name as "Ordee".
g The 1920 census lists R.D. and Anna (it lists her birth date as 1892, however) residing in Pepin County with their children Chancy (notice difference in spelling) and Vernon.
g R.D. and Annie were card-playing friends of James and Gretchen Black.
